WIKE: No amount of gang-up can make PDP give somebody who will want to run an election for the interest of some big men, and not for all Nigerians

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike made some assertion during the grand reception organized by the people of Kalabari Ethnic nationality at Abalama School field in Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers state.

Being one of the major ethnic groups in the state, the Kalabari people conferred a traditional title of Se-Ibidokubo of Kalabari land which means “He who does good things for Kalabari people”

The governor has been working hard to ensure all the kalabari communities are linked with a road network by re-awarding the construction of Trans-kalabari road project which will be a major boost to the development of Kalabari land.

The governor said during his speech at the event that some desperate politicians are scheming for a candidate who will not serve interest of many, rather the wealthy few.

He said PDP candidate must be a candidate for the interest of Nigerians, that no amount of intimidation and gang-up will make PDP field a candidate that will run election for interest of some big men.

He said southern leaders will take a decisive stand about 2023 election soon.

Governor Wike has previously received different titles from different ethnic nationalities in the state including his own Ikwerre ethnic group.
